Interview questions

Me and Maddie have been discussing what questions we would like to ask the people we are interviewing. We have 3 people that we will be interviewing for the Millennium Mum documentary, they are:
Lorraine Hubbard- Sam's mother
Leanne O'Mera- Sam's best friend
Samantha Hubbard

Here are the questions we would like to ask:

Lorraine:

  • How did you find out about Sam's pregnancy?
  • How did you feel when you found out? Scared, worried, angry?
  • Did it remind you of when you found out you were pregnant as a teenager?
  • What advice did you give Sam?
  • Has Sam becoming a teen mum effected the way in which you view teenage mothers now?
  • How do you feel Sam's life has panned out?
Leanne:
  • When did you find out that Sam was pregnant?
  • What was your reaction?
  • What advice did you give Sam?
  • Did yours and Sam's relationship change in any way once you found out she was pregnant/ Sam had the baby?
  • Was it hard to see your friend go through pregnancy and take on such a big responsibility at a young age?
  • What stories could you tell us about you and Sam? Both before and after having Jordon.
Sam:
  • When did you find out that you were pregnant?
  • How did you find out?
  • How did you feel when you found out?
  • What was your first reaction?
  • Who did you tell first about your pregnancy?
  • Would you change anything about how your life has turned out?
  • What advice would you give to teen mothers today, knowing what you do now and experiencing what you have?

We are going to have some of these interviews as question and answer but others a bit more unstructured and raw so we get the true opinion of the interviewee across.
